Penny Ride Rock

This is Penny Ride a back zip ankle boot in all over croc print calfskin with elastic insert for comfort. All leather lined with a flat all leather sole.

Bonded by a love of rocks and many Sundays spent digging chunks of terrazzo from hiking trails. Tinka's eldorado Rocks were always a fav of Rach's.. they hatched a scheme to try and attach them to a zip pull.  We decided on unique rocks for each style; the New Kid classic Claude Enigma- zip shoe and a new addition special for the collab Penny Ride- back zip boot. Tinka made a silicone mould of chosen rocks, then a wax mould which was cast in brass. She spent an enormous amount of time soldering hooks, refining and sanding until finally plating in gold. Rach chose some buttery croc print calfskin in a rich brown and cherry red and worked on a new classic all leather sole.
